At Davis Juma Foundation, we aim to rebuild hope where it’s been damaged, or lost...wherever we can in this world. We work with those in need, those who are underprivileged, and those who are underserved to rebuild and restructure.

Our focus lies on community efforts, including small-scale construction protects, shelter, food aid, clean water, community awareness, and educational opportunities.

We firmly believe it takes a loving heart and personal care to raise a child, and if you work on creating the most well equipped society you can, so many problems simply work themselves out.

If you live in the United States or in most developed nations, if a child were to suddenly feel ill and fall to the ground unconscious, that child will likely be in the back of an ambulance within about 10 minutes.

The child would be taken to a hospital where some of the best medical professionals in the world would make it their top priority to make that child well irrespective of their ability to pay for the medical treatment they’re receiving.  In some cases, if necessary, that same child may be taken by a helicopter if the need is that urgent.

In Kenya, Africa, where I live, if a child gets bit by a mosquito they risk death by malaria. This is of course assuming they don’t first die from HIV/AIDS, malnutrition, or a parasite from bad drinking water.

It’s a horror story.  It’s nothing new. We’ve seen the images on TV time and time again to the point of numbness. In fact, if you really think about it hard (it’s painful to do), it’s quite overwhelming.

Our mission is to take our money, time and talents and distribute to them so they become more self-sufficient above and beyond basic subsistence living.

WHERE THERE ARE PEOPLE IN NEED, WE’LL BE THERE LENDING A HAND, A SMILE, AND AN ENCOURAGING WORD

"In as much as ye have done it for the least of these, ye have done it for me".... Jesus Christ  Matthew 25:40
